Tolcapone

Tolcapone is a COMT inhibitor. It is extremely hepatoxic and is a last-resort drug. It inhibits COMT (the enzyme involved in the catabolism of dopamine and norepinephrine, the cathecholamines). It is often used to treat Parksinson's, as it prevents the breakdown of whatever dopamine might be left going to the striatum.
